“Being based in Varanasi gives Prime Value Tours a completely different level of expertise in the holy city. The sunrise boat ride they organised was on a quiet wooden boat, not a tourist vessel — pure magic.”

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best time to visit Delhi, Agra, Jaipur and Varanasi?
October to March is the ideal travel window. Weather is cool and pleasant (12°C–25°C), perfect for outdoor sightseeing at the Taj Mahal, Amber Fort, and Varanasi ghats. The absolute best months are October–November and February–March. Avoid May to July (extreme heat, 40–48°C). The monsoon season (July–September) is lush but humid.
Yes — the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday for prayers. Our itinerary is always carefully planned so your Agra day never falls on a Friday. We also note that sunrise visits (6–8 AM) are the most magical and least crowded.

Most nationalities require an India e-Tourist Visa, which can be applied for online at indianvisaonline.gov.in. The e-Visa is typically approved within 72 hours, valid for 30, 90, or 180 days. Citizens of over 160 countries are eligible. Apply at least 4–5 days before travel.

Absolutely — all Prime Value Tours packages are fully private and customizable. We can adjust travel dates, hotel categories (3-star to luxury heritage), pace, add extra cities (Ranthambore, Orchha, Khajuraho, Bodh Gaya, Lumbini-Nepal), or extend the Buddhist circuit. Contact us for a custom quote tailored to your group.
India is widely travelled by international tourists safely every year. All sites on this itinerary are well-established tourist destinations with good security. Travelling with a Government-approved operator like Prime Value Tours — with vetted drivers, licensed guides, and a 24/7 support contact — significantly enhances your safety and peace of mind. We recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all guests.
Free cancellation is available up to 30 days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations 15–30 days prior: 25% cancellation fee. 7–14 days prior: 50% fee. Within 7 days: 75% fee. Force majeure situations are handled case by case with flexibility. Full terms are provided at booking confirmation.

Varanasi is deeply rewarding — but also the most intense city in India. Our experienced local Varanasi guides (Prime Value Tours is headquartered here) ensure you navigate the old city’s narrow lanes safely and comfortably, with the cultural and spiritual context that makes every sight meaningful rather than overwhelming. It is consistently rated by our guests as the highlight of the entire journey.
